Our review of the websites for Wagmo and Banfield left us feeling that the Wagmo plans and service is easier to understand. One can clearly see the 3 plans they offer along with the services covered and a good list of FAQs. The only 2 items Wagmo did not seem to offer that Banfield does offer are discounts for multiple pets and online Vet chat services.
If you think you may move ahead with one of these companies, keep in mind they offer pet wellness plans and that differs sharply from pet insurance. Wellness plans provide coverage for routine items such as routine vet exams, vaccines and bloodwork. Insurance covers the more disruptive emergency and accidental services such as surgery, poisoning, muscle and ligament tears etc.
