As hinted in the opening of this article, BabelBark was started by pet owners because they were headed on vacation and wanted a way to stay connected to their pets and the people caring for them. Originally intended for that small scale, the app was popular among others and steadily grew to become a full company and to offer the suite of features it has today.
Forbes website (forbes.com) has compared BabelBark to Uber and AirBnB from the perspective that the service is mobile first and is bringing value to a network. Babel Bark connects all the people involved in caring for your pet and does so in a way that is easily accessible and used by people on their phones.
As of March 2020, almost 8,000 people like the company Facebook page and almost 2500 people follow them on Instagram.
