The quick summary is that they have a device that attaches to the bully stick so that as your dog chews it down to a small size the device is attached and prevents your dog from choking on the last bit. how does it work ?

Bully sticks are long (4 - 10 inches usually) and thin. When your dog chews them down to the last 2 inches or less, they can become a choking risk. Bully Buddy works like this:

Bully Buddy looks like a dog bone and it has a hole in the center in which you slide a bully stick

One side of that hole has ridged "teeth" to grab and stick to the bully stick

The other side has a dowel shaped pin that moves to clamp down on the bully stick

On the outside end there is a twist knob allowing you to clamp the dowel shaped pin tightly to lock the bully stick in place

Now the bully stick is stuck in the device, with 90% of it protruding out so your dog can chew on it and the last 10% locked in so as to avoid choking
